Show Info
Are you completely devastated and struggling to figure out what the funk to do to take our society back from the brink of complete and total destruction? Do you need to laugh, grieve, and act — together, in community, with your whole body? Then this show is for you!
RADICAL ACTS is an interactive, immersive experience guided by Ramón through tactile experiences, collective art-making, and connection games to help you return to your body and each other. Learn how to become a jester to navigate the king’s nonsense. Ritualize grief and release it in the dark in a safe communal atmosphere. Channel your rage into a call to action.
Then let Ramón guide you through an epic glow-in-the-dark dance party where grief dissolves into whimsy and what has grown heavy and stagnant finally lets go.
Written and perfomed by Ruby Marez. Directed by Bonnie Hee.

“Levity is not frivolous — it’s functional. Laughter, encouragement, and play help loosen what’s grown heavy, restore perspective, and keep us resourced enough to stay human in the midst of intensity.”
— Sadia Bruce (Esalen Institute), on Ramón’s work
“Letting go does not mean forgetting the loss, but rather reducing the intensity of the distress to make space for joy and new memories.”
— Litsa Williams, What’s Your Grief
