L.A. Camerata returns to City Garage Theatre with a program centered on two driving factors of madness: remembrance and revenge. This second iteration of “Madwomen” weaves together theatrical scenes and historically-informed music to reclaim women’s rage.

In collaboration with the LA Female Playwrights Initiative

Featuring texts by: Shakespeare, Chandra Thomas, Rachel Iba, and Jennie Webb. 

Music by: Claudio Monteverdi, Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, Antonio Vivaldi, Henry Purcell, Isabella Leonarda, and Henri de Bailly.
