A hard-of-hearing singer—known as the Deaf Lady Gaga—moves through fame, identity, and cancel culture, confronting a brutal truth: who gets to exist—and who gets erased. A 60-minute ASL solo show with original music, guided by a Trans and Disabled hero.

After a sold-out premiere at Solofest, the work continues touring as performance and advocacy, expanding visibility for diverse d/Deaf experiences and complex, hybrid identities.

Created and performed by TL Forsberg—an internationally celebrated artist, activist, and American Ambassador on Disability. Her work has toured 40+ festivals worldwide and includes See What I’m Saying: The Deaf Entertainers DocumentarySwitched at Birth, and VH1’s SuperGroup. A graduate of George Brown Theatre School, she is a hard-of-hearing singer who has opened for Alanis Morissette, composed for Deaf festivals, and written for Miss Deaf International.
