Show Info

Theatre of NOTE announces its production of the Los Angeles premiere of A Beautiful Day in November on the Banks of the Greatest of the Great Lakes, written by Kate Benson and directed by Laramie Dennis.

Opening on Thursday, November 10 at 8pm and running through Saturday, December 10, performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 7pm.

A Beautiful Day in November on the Banks of the Greatest of the Great Lakes opens as three middle-aged sisters prepare an elaborate Thanksgiving dinner for the whole clan ā€” including a nearly deaf grandpa, a mostly blind grandma, and a pair of professional sportscasters ā€” in this upside-down, inside-out American family play.

A Beautiful Day in November on the Banks of the Greatest of the Great Lakes is a dark comedy that takes place around a holiday meal surrounded by family, a tasty bird, perfect gravy, plus color commentary. What could go wrong?

Featuring: Judy Levitt, John MacKane, Sarah Lilly, Tegan Cohan, Debbie Jaffe, Nicole Scipione, Rebecca Light, David Bickford, Kjai Block and Chris Neiman.
