When you put two multi-hyphenates together, you can’t just do one thing. Peep is a comedy variety show, with a mix of sketch, dance, physical comedy, stuntwork, character, improv, and a wee bit o’ clown. It’s silliness, camp, and play chaotically thrown and tossed about, by two AAPI with graduate degrees. But, don’t expect anything highbrow, even though Peep shines a light, through a prism of quirk and fun, on our common humanity: suffering, longing, shame, identity, health, politeness, authenticity, relationships, and basic Maslow needs. Get ready for a wild ride, including being prepared for some grossness.
