And Her Children is a reimagining of Bertolt Brecht’s play Mother Courage and Her Children which explores the American gun violence epidemic through the lens of a spokeswoman for the NRA. Inspired by former NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch’s infamous appearance at a Town Hall following the Parkland shooting, And Her Children is a fascinating meditation on what it means to be paid to defend the right to bear arms. Time holds still as our contemporary Anna Fierling is plummeted into a liminal space where the audience is a stand-in for her own troubled conscience. In this imagined space, she grapples with two gnawing questions: Has she been selfish? And will she keep her job?

OTHER INFO
Parking near the venue is extremely tricky and very limited. There is no designated lot, so you will need to find parking on the street. Plan to arrive at least a half an hour early to ensure that you are able to park, locate the theatre, and check in. We also highly encourage ridesharing services or public transportation as a way to avoid the parking debacle entirely.
As this show is part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival, we encourage you to see other performances in the festival and support Los Angeles theatre!
