The Second Woman is a two-character play inspired by the film Opening Night by John Cassavetes, and the Elysian mysteries rooted in ancient Minoan culture. The piece will be performed by Marissa Chibas and Paula Rebelo and directed by Zoe Aja Moore. This dynamic intergenerational team have come together to create a soul stirring experience, a ritual for transformation that draws from these rich and inspiring sources.
When an aging actress experiences a dark night of the soul, a mysterious young woman leads her to confront the ghosts of her past in a ritual that ultimately transforms them both forever.
