About We The People

In the months that followed the 2016 election, producers and creators of We The People, Kimberly Atkinson and Amir Levi, recognized an opportunity to meld art and activism.

“We both feel in a deep way that the community needs a place to artistically express their fear, their hope, their anger, and their ideas in the wake of so much political and social turmoil and we want their work to live past its single performance,” explains Atkinson.

We knew it had to be artistic activism that would raise awareness and connect people with other organizations that were making a difference,” adds Levi.

We The People is always looking for new material and new participants. Submissions are open to the public and all are encouraged to contact the producers to find out how to participate. For more information, visit www.sacredfools.org and click on WE THE PEOPLE.
